Yes, microplastic appears when washing the socks but in conclusion we have much more benefits than damage. To have less microplastic when washing our socks we recommend:

– to wash socks in cold, not hotter than 40 water

– to use washing bags protecting from microplastics

– to use special filters for washing machines

– wash less frequently if it is possible

You shouldn’t be afraid of polyester because a lot of sport clothes, accessories are made from it. Also polyester provides much longer wearing durability.

-wash inside out

-do not tumble dry

-use cold washing (not hotter than 40C)

-do not use bleach or harsh chemicals

Only recycled paper. We do not use any plastic or other materials.

1. Plastic bottles are collected from the oceans.

2. Bottles become plastic flakes.

3. Plastic flakes become plastic granules.

4. Plastic granules become plastic yarns.

5. Plastic yarns are mixed with upcycled cotton and become the material that we use for our socks. Other materials what we use for the best result: organic cotton, polyamide and elastane.
